M.E.O.W. - Most Embarrassing or What
Instructions and Description below!
Ever been at a party or just some impromptu drinking on a Tuesday night and need something to do? That deck of cards got ruined ages ago by a spilt beer and youre too damn lazy to buy a new one, right? M.E.O.W. is here to ride in on the back of the awkward turtle to save the day!
The game begins with the person with the phone. The first topic/question/idea/prompt is displayed and read aloud. The phone holder of this turn tells their story regarding the displayed prompt. If the person does not want to tell, instead they must take a shot. If the story is told, then everyone takes a sip of their drink. Then, the phone is passed and the next question is displayed.
Note: If someone playing is involved or related to the story told by the person holding the phone, then person also involved takes a shot.
For example, if the prompt "Best Kisser" is displayed, and the person holding the phone points to their FWB sitting across the table, then they get a congratulations shot for their skill. But say your GF is sitting at the table and shes not quite the best kisser ever... you best hold your tongue and take that shot instead. Choose wisely and honesty is the best policy :-)
If someone is lying about their story, then you can call them out and they have to take a shot.
Prompts are open to interpretation. Tell your story or hide behind a shot glass, either way, have fun and get hammered.
If you feel like getting frisky, you can make everyone tell their story with each displayed prompt instead of passing the phone. The same drinking rules would still apply; sips for stories told, or shots if youre lame(;
M.E.O.W. got its name because one of the prompts says "Weirdest pickup line."
A guy drew the card (when it was all handwritten on unused index cards during a semester in college) and he told his story. A girl used to meow at him and he said that had to be the weirdest pickup line hes ever experienced... and M.E.O.W happens to be a very convenient acronym.
This game came about from a bunch of college students getting drunk and sharing juicy stories about life. Do with it what you will and always have a designated driver.
